Camp K reservations are being handled by the owners, Mary and Bob. Contact Mary for open dates at Camp K. These will be posted on the home page and also on our FaceBook page (HorseCampK).

New in 2020 - Lewis County has imposed a bed tax on the horse camps so our rates reflect that.
Daily Rate:
$96/person/night with a 3 night, 2 person minimum. This includes your horse's accommodations.
Weekly Rate: $610/person which includes your horse's accommodations.
Maximum occupancy of 4 or 5 people but only 4 horses.

Deposit: All reservations require a 50% non refundable deposit due no later than March 1st of the same year as the reservation. Deposits not received by that date will be cancelled.

Balance is due upon arrival with the exception of September and October reservations. September and October balances are due no later than August 1st.

Reservations made after March 1st will be held for 2 weeks until deposit arrives.

You are encouraged to make your deposit using PayPal with our on-line Deposit Form. Canadians must pay using PayPal. The balance due can be paid using the Balance Due Form or by directly making a PayPal payment to Of course you can also pay by check made out to BP Equine and sent to Mary Delton P.O. Box 27 Glenfield, NY 13343.

We ask that each camper fill out the Deposit forms INDIVIDUALLY even if you don't want to use PayPal. It contains the information we need for insurance and liability. When you submit the form, you will be emailed a copy of it. If you want to mail a check for your deposit, you can still do that by checking the $0.00 box on the form. The balance due must be received before or when you arrive at Camp K or by August 1 if your reservations are for September or October.

Dogs: As of July 2019, there is an additional fee of $50 if you bring a dog to camp. This is because of the extra cleaning that has to be done. This fee is due when you pay your balance.

Prior permission is required to bring your dog each year. Please do not ask us if you can bring your dog if he/she is not very well behaved, friendly and quiet. If approved the following applies:
* Dog must be crated & quiet when you are not in cabin. (Barking neighbors aren’t any fun)
* Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds.
* You must clean up after your dog, both inside and outside, before you leave.
* Dogs must be kept with you and not running loose. Please contact Mary (585-734-zerozero14) or Wendy (315-26three-40two1) in advance.

Directions to Camp K

From the EAST:
Take the NY Thruway to Exit 31 - Utica (I-790, NY Routes 8 & 12).

Follow Rt 12 North. There are a lot of right turns from the toll booths and it may feel like you are going in circles but keep following the signs and stay on Rt 12 north.

At Burdicks Crossing Rd (about 7 miles north of the Lock 96 Gas Station in Port Leyden), turn right. There is a sign just before the turn for snowmobiling and to Brantingham. You will be amazed to see a drive-in movie theater when you make the turn.

At the stop sign where Burdick’s Crossing tees into Greig Rd (County Rd 39) turn left. Continue through Greig for about 4 miles till you cross Otter Creek (small bridge). Take an immediate right onto Chases Lake Rd (see sign at corner for Otter Creek Horse Trails).

Continue for about 5 miles. On the way, the road changes name to Erie Canal Rd after you pass the entrance to the horse trails assembly area (on right). You will cross the Independence River and then cross Sperryville Rd. Camp K will be your first driveway on the right.
From the WEST:
Take the NY Thruway to Exit 36 (I-81 N Watertown).
Take I-81 North to Exit 42 (Adams Center, Smithville, RT 177). Turn right onto Rt 177 east. Follow all the way to Rt 12 (West Lowville) and turn right onto Rt 12 south.

Follow Rt 12 to the traffic light in Lowville. Stay straight (Rt 12 goes right) and when the road ends, turn right onto State St. At the 4-way stop, turn left (Tractor Supply) and continue on Number 4 Rd for about 4 miles. Shortly after passing Miller's Meat Market (on left), Number 4 goes left but you will bear right on the main road which is now Pine Grove Rd.

In less than a mile, take a left onto N. Chase's Lake Rd and follow for about 4 miles to the stop sign at the intersection with Erie Canal Rd. Turn left and Camp K will be your first driveway on the right.
